The Golden Harvest.

We woke up this morning to a very overcast day and constant rain which lasted until midday, then the clouds cleared to reveal blue skies and summer sunshine. So we went for a long walk to the local farm by the farm tracks and on round the coast road to home. Nearly six miles in all. We passed the barley fields which had been harvested leaving these big rectangular straw bales and they looked nice as they glistened in the bright sunshine.
