Fall?

It seems like summer has abruptly ended in the Pacific Northwest. It was just a week ago when I was hiking in shorts and sweating profusely. Yesterday, I strolled through the forest and saw signs of Fall in a few yellow leaves.

I grew up in Southern California and the forest floor was always so brown but in the Pacific NW, it is many layers of green with downed trees literally dripping with moss.
