Today we left for Paris. Our 3 children were fast alseep as we left them in the care of an old school friend.

We took the Eurostar into Paris arrive around 12 noon, 2 hours later we were at the Eiffel Tower awaiting Segway training. Half an hour later we were off toexplore Paris with our guide Kylie from Washington DC. What an amazing experience! Riding it was actually pretty easy! We saw everything & stopped to take photos although often people were actually photographing (or Blipping maybe?) us! At the end our legs & feet ached from standing but we were grinning like cheshire cats - what fun & what a fabulous way to find your feet in a new city!

We sat under the Eiffel Tower for a while to catch our breath before returning to our hotel. We went to a great vegetarian restaurant & saw Notre Dam in the dark. A great first day!
