365 perfect, perfect days
Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes,
How do you measure a year in the life?
How about love?
How about love?
How about love?
Measure in love.
Seasons of love,
Seasons of love.
I love Rent, I've sang the soundtrack for years since I first saw it, but I constantly sang throughout pregnancy hoping that the baby would like to be sang to. This song is so apt for this post that I had to share some lyrics.
So here we are, 365 days after our lives changed so very much. It's Noah's first birthday tomorrow and I can't quite believe it. It's hard to put down in words how much we love him, adore him, are in awe of him... he's just THE most amazing thing in our lives. Soppy indeed but so very true. 365 written by me and his little marks underneath <3
This also marks my first ever 365 which I've very proud of. I haven't always updated on the day, especially in the past few weeks, but I've always taken a photo a day to collect to upload when I have time. These past few weeks have been manic and my entries are mostly just photos but for me each of those photos prompt a day of memories with the little man in my life. Setting up the business was mostly for Noah, so that I could work from home and be with him more. Thank you to the amazing lifeofh for introducing me to blip and encouraging me to keep a log of his life.
Today, we have all come together to prepare the building site garden for a birthday party tomorrow, and Noah has mostly been walking around the garden like a tiny zombie to the sound of cheering. So proud of my family for doing all of this for him, so very very grateful.
Well, I've fed my 0yr old son to sleep for the last time, tomorrow I shall be feeding my 1year old. A whole year of breastfeeding, well done boobs. It has been an amazing journey this past year and he has brought so much to our lives. Here's to the next 365 days of this wonderful boy of ours.
Sleep sweetly Noah, thank you for everything my son x
