Looking forward to Spring

I bought some raffle tickets for the Horticulture event in the office and I won some tulip bulbs.

I don't have anywhere in the garden they could be planted - we have no soil in our gardens - they are all mono blocked and stabbed! So Kaydan, Zak and I planted them in tubs at the is of the house this morning.

I explained to the children that we would see lovely flowers in the springtime.

We went away to soft play and when we came back about 2 hours later, Kaydan rushed to the flower tubs. He was really disappointed the flowers hadn't grown whilst he had been away! I fear it will be a long winter if he is going to be wishing the flowers here before springtime. Lol
