Fishing

Up at the crack if dawn for a half day fishing trip. 6:30am start and it was warm but foggy as the sun was rising.

Fairly calm until we went out of the bay and it got a bit choppy. 6 hours of the constant rocking and rolling made me pretty nauseous but I managed to keep breakfast down (unlike many others).

It was a packed boat, over 60 people (luckily
one of only days of year when don't need to shell out for a $14 sports fishing day license). The fish must have been wondering why all of a sudden there was all the easy food on offer. Still I managed to catch a small rockfish (whilst messing about with the line and not paying attention). Filleted there and then for $1 and eaten in a nice (if very small) fish sandwich when I got home. Bit too bony for my liking though.

My friend didn't manage to catch anything unfortunately but many others on the boat did.

Lazy afternoon, went out with the wife to the local Thai place. Now digesting it whilst getting up to date with Walter white.
