East Beach Cafe

This is the rather funky East Beach Cafe. Designed by Thomas Heatherwick who is famous for the London Olympic cauldron and the new London buses, it certainly adds something to the Littlehampton seafront.

Shaped to look like a giant shell and with all the windows on the beach side, it looks interesting from the outside and creates a lovely atmosphere on the inside.

It was the perfect place for lunch with Matt and my parents after a nice walk and a game of crazy golf (I won!).
