Medoc Marathon ticked off the bucket list and for anyone out there feeling they fancy a marathon, I couldn't recommend this one more highly.
Great atmosphere, some of the weirdest costumes I've seen, I bumped into a few others wearing Spiderman!
23 wine stations ( of which I managed 22, only cos couldn't be bothered with fellow runners queue jumping at one), food stalls including steak, cheese, oysters, cake, fruit and ice cream at the last. Supported by local people cheering everyone round shouting
"Regarde, Speederman!"
"Allez Jacqueline, you are perfect' ........... in a strong French accent!!
I read somewhere you should ALWAYS remember compliments.
Happy and ready to enjoy a few days in Bordeaux recovering..............
whilst doing absolutely nothing!
