A very unusual day.
This looks like a very nice tea party for friends outside in a lovely garden. Don't be fooled!
My sister Beth and her friends decided to have a "Film Festival" in Melvaig which lasted most of the day.
Her friend Peter has his own private cinema in his bothy and it was decided to watch 3 films during the course of the day.
The day started with breakfast - croissants, home-made jam and fresh fruit with gorgeous coffee, then we watched the first film called "Abigail's party".
Lunch was a delicious soup and very exotic salad and then we watched "Nuts in May".
Afternoon tea was served with tasty home-baking and we finished with the third film "Secrets and lies".
I am never ceased to amazed by the ideas that seem to crop up in this little pocket of the highlands. I thought it was daft enough for my sister and her friends to have a tea party in a lay-by but this venture was almost as zany. Not only that, but there was talk at the end of it all that this would become a regular feature in the months to come.
Just magic!
