The Hunter Valley

We drove out for a day trip to the Hunter Valley today. The Hunter Valley is a famous wine region - we had a day of utmost sophistication, with golfing at a driving range in the morning, then travelling to various wine merchants where we were able to do some wine tasting in the afternoon. Best discovery of the day was the concept of Sparkling Red Wine. Sparkling red wine. I'll also be looking out for a type of wine called Moscato at home, as well as looking out for Hunter Valley Shiraz. Sounding like more of an expert than I was at the start of the day. It was great. And also went home slightly drunk (for free!!).
