Wester Hailes and back ...

Big running-day today ...

... this is the first year, in eleven-years, that I've not cycled the Glasgow-Edinburgh Pedal for Scotland event; and we'd set ourselves the target of running 10K today as a substitute ;-)

Pleased to say, that we managed it this morning, and made it all the way out to the far-end of Wester Hailes and back - along our favourite canal, of course :-))

This shot is of the high-rise flats out at Wester Hailes.

Great conditions too ... bright, but nice and cool. And our pace was fine - so, today's figures:

Date: 8/9/13
Height: 6 ft 4inches
Weight: 15stone 11pounds (hooray!)
Distance run: >6-miles (10K)
Pace: 10-mins/mile

Definitely a running rest-day tomorrow ... poem on the way!

All the details on why I'm doing this can be found here.

And if you want to sponsor me - to help Venture Scotland, and also help to keep my motivation up! - then all the relevant details are here :-)
