A Wee Sunflower

In May Pink Twin broke her arm in two places after falling off our bed. She'd been using it as a trampoline. She had to be put to sleep while they straightened it under anaesthetic so we spent the day in the children's ward at our local hospital. There were 2 little girls there with broken arms & a big boy, who looked like he was having a long stay there, was planting sunflower seeds - he let them join in. Pink twin planted 3 seeds and this Blip shows what she grew.

This wee sunflower is 30 cms high (almost 12 inches) high. Pink Twin in Playmobil is 5 cms high. This means the sunflower is 6 times her height. So if this photo was actually to scale & her sunflower grew 6 times her 'live' height it would be 6 metres 30 cms high (20 feet 3 inches). That would be pretty impressive!
