Woody!

We went through to Mum's this morning and took her shopping. We had just pulled in to the drive when she saw the woodpecker at her holly tree. She said that it usually flew straight to the birdfeeder after this. So , still in the car, we got our cameras at the ready and Woody duly obliged! All the little birds flew away until he had his brunch!

Just been for a walk round the wood with Rona in lovely sunshine. However now it is clouding over. I think we have had the best of the day

Fifi and Lyall coming later for tea. Have made steak pie so I hope they will enjoy it! Don't think Rona will need much to eat. She has already devoured three chocolate wrappers she found while off the lead!
