Dutch Indian Summer Night
Today it was a grey day.
We had a big business event with our clipper and 9 other flat bottom ships. It was a race from Monnickendam to Muiden. We had the instruction to make it an exciting race, so we started as the last ship. Halfway we already sailed at the second place so we decided to make the last leg of the race course a bit longer for us. But still we managed to finish first.
So, despite the grey day, it was an successful event.
And then we sailed back to our harbor. The weather changed, the clouds changed, the light changed and suddenly we had a gorgeous, indian summer colored sunset.
What a great way to finish the day with this "Oude Wijven Zomer", as it is called in dutch.
