Felting

Had a wonderful morning at a textile workshop. My sisters friend is a very talented felt artist and she had agreed as part of the towns Bridlington Priory 900th birthday to hold a textile workshop. The process is fascinating and we all made our own pictures. It was so relaxing and therapeutic we all lost ourselves in the our art work.
This lady was part of our group this morning, she has such an interesting face she reminded me of a character from a childrens book. She had this strange little high pitched giggle. We took our art work home to dry (takes 48 hours) then its up to us to finish off any details we want to add. I'm looking forward to adding some embellishment to mine. I think its a hobby I shall be continuing with.
