Keep calm...

and carry on cooking.

I have spent five hours cooking three different dishes today, to freeze ready for the weeks ahead when I won't have much time to cook. All was going well, with one dish in the oven, one on the hob and one in the freezer when we had a power cut! All of the appliances were without power, but the ceiling lights were still working. After an initial panic I googled the problem, found a solution to try and it worked! Major relief after all that slogging away in the kitchen.

And here we have the fruits of my labour. Seven meals for two ready to freeze. Very satisfying. Time for a glass of wine:)
