A morning in the 'Diff

Went to Cardiff this morning to see some friends run in the Cardiff 10k. In between trying to spot them amongst the crowds I popped into Cardiff Castle where South Wales Police were holding a family fun day. Whilst I was there, there was a demonstration by police divers diving in the Castle Moat, which was apparently very dark and very smelly!

Anyway, as I was leaving I saw this view. Two "spires". The old, on the right, of Cardiff Castle, and the new, on the left, of the Millenium Stadium. Both equally as important to the city in their own way. I'm Newport born and bred, but we're very lucky to have a city like Cardiff right on our doorstep.

Well done everyone who ran. It was actually quite emotional to stand there and cheer you on. You should be very proud.
