Lucette Reflection

The Lucette Beacon is on the Shaldon side of the Teign and it lights the way into the approach to Teignmouth harbour. When I saw it with a pool of water on the shore side, I thought I should be able to get a nice reflection. This shot was taken with a .6 grad and a 10 stop filter to balance the sky and give me a thirty second exposure to blur the water and the clouds. It also made the water traffic disappear.

It's been a day of sunshine and showers for us and a bit chillier too. Lady Marian's pleased that the water butts are full again so she doesn't need to water the lawn.

I like Autumn but I'd like a bit more summer first.
