Rainy day blues

We had a storm of biblical proportions during the night. We usually get at least one or two pretty impressive ones through the summer but this is the biggest, loudest, coldest (hail?!), wettest one for a long time - it was even setting off car alarms! It gave us the perfect excuse to hunker down and feed our faces with roast chicken and all the trimmings.

In other news, the husband has been hypnotised today to help him stop smoking - here's hoping it works!
