Late bloomer

Everything else in the garden is heading for being well past its best but this aster is holding out on flowering. It will be purple, eventually. A less dramatic shot than the Red Arrows that I missed, twice.

Back to Sundays being the day to get things done. Lesson prep. this morning, then hoovering, cleaning the kitchen floor and a (little) pile of ironing. I think I'm ready for Monday.
