Budleigh Salterton

From Beer to Budleigh through rain into sun. A very genteel, Victorian seaside resort. We lowered the mean age by entering the town/village.

We all had a lovely walk along the seafront to see the pebble cliffs deposited by an ancient river as big as the Nile. We avoided coffee and ice cream and headed instead to Exeter where we had lunch on the quayside followed by a walk/ferry trip combo. We then headed home via both sets of grandparents and now here we sit, at the end off great weekend, somewhat knackered but fulfilled.

Am just watching a rare vase on Antiques Roadshow.

I have just noticed a fine hair crack on your vase but its still worth five thousand pounds.

Antiques don't get more exciting than this!
