The Big Bash

Day 250

A much needed Saturday after a full week back at the ministry of labour/ education, started with a much needed lie in at Ts with breakfast also in bed. Spoilt.

Afternoon was spent with the boy over our local park with our wonderful friends, despite every child having some kind of mard/ tears. The building of our housing estate has finally finished and the developer along with the local community/ church centre put on The Big Bash to celebrate.

Bigger than expected and right good old afternoon/ evening was put on. blatantly most that were there do not live here, but did show that the local community loves a good old knees up, especially if there's free cake, hog roast and entertainment. Bar unfortunately wasn't free, but it was still drunk dry.

The bash culminated in a proper good firework display. Then it was round to our friends house for more booze and curry for the adults and more hooliganism and eventual over tired tears from the boys.
