Smiles

We had an extended family gathering today. The plan was to have a barbecue, but the rain prevented outdoor eating. Our host braved the rain to barbecue the salmon and chicken, while we kept warm indoors.

There were a number of babies and toddlers; and, they were the stars! Somehow, no matter how bad things get, their smiles light up a room. And, it does not take too much to get those smiles and giggles - maybe a little ice cream?!
