Adam & Roberta, playing backgammon
We had a fun cycle with the kids to the Modern Art galleries today, not to see any of the exhibits, but so they get to have a "run around". While my wife and I enjoy some nice cake and coffee. There was also a couple having their portraits taken by a photographer with a big softbox wielding assistant, which I speculated to my wife was probably an engagement shoot. She hadn't heard of people having their pictures taken for that reason before, and to be honest with her it probably is a made-up-event to generate business for photographers.
This is one of the few shots I took today that's not of our kids. This couple was having a game of backgammon at one of the galleries, and it almost seemed a scene from a bygone age. Where they were sitting also allowed for an unusual shooting angle.
