Roller Racing

Today the voluntary group that I occasionally help out with, Newbridge Park, held a family fun day in the beer garden at the Sun Inn down the road. As the group's overall theme is outdoor activities in the nearby woods, particularly cycling, the centrepiece of the afternoon was a Roller Racing competition. Yes, I had to google Roller Racing before I designed the poster for the event... it basically means head-to-head races on stationary bikes linked to a digital timer. Looks very tiring. I didn't have a go as I revived a calf injury from last week when I went for a post-holiday run this morning. No-one believed me though, they all presumed it was a fake injury to avoid taking part :-/
