Lovely day
Lovely day today.
Today - lots of visiting places and spending money.
What more could a girl ask for?
When we got home, Christine and I sat in the garden, enjoying the view and a few drinkies. We had a wee exciting moment when a rabbit appeared in the garden, and the dogs gave chase. Unfortunately, not a rabbit was caught. Now, this may seem unfeeling to the general public, but let me explain.
Up until 2 years ago, our local inn was owned by people who also kept pet rabbits. When they left, they simply let the rabbits out of their cages. Ever since then, the black, white and palomino rabbits have been on the rampage in our wee village. They are now eating my plants and the contents of the tubs. Up until this disaster, there were no rabbits here, as there are too many stones for their burrows. Instead, they are taking refuge in old empty croft houses, and also UNDER MY SHED!!
A neighbour is going to buy humane traps and then set them loose elsewhere. We all feel that they should be let loose in the garden of the folks who let them loose here in the first place.
HOW IRRESPONSIBLE CAN PEOPLE BE???????
Rant over - sorry folks.
