Flower among Weeds

Saw this flower among a lot of undergrowth and as it is a dull and overcast day today it lent a little bit of colour.

I notice that the spell checker is pointing out to me that my correct English spelling of colour should be 'color' the way our colonial cousins spell it.
Just think, before Dr. Johnstone and his dictionary words could be spelled any way at all. In fact why do we not always spell place names the way the natives of the country
spell them. eg Munich should be Munchen etc.
