The Midnight Urban Teasel...

And spider.

Crouching out around midnight, with my ultra-fast Nikkor D 50mm f1.4 standard lens only, I was drawn to the shady underworld of near the railway sidings.

Had to stop the lens down a bit as I really wanted both the spider and the teasel reasonably sharp but they were not in the same zone of focus. The light source is mostly from the no entry sign light, plus some from a street lamp behind me.

I'm next to a new housing estate and so I did feel a little awkward having a large full-frame camera, peering at strange objects in the dark!
