Unplanned swim
While I was a church C fitted the shed windows. One thing more to do: we kept the old kitchen flooring and that has to be cut to fit in the shed. Then all is done. The bikes are in there for there first night in their new home.
We cycled to The King's Head in Stutton for steak & tjips. Was a nice ride except for the down hill on the main road with cars speeding past.
The way back was another story. It rained to start off with. Fortunately not for long. To cut out a part of the main road we went along the sea wall but then went on an overgrown footpath - brambles & stinging nettles on the one side & water on the other. Let's just say that I ended up with one leg in the brook of Holbrook, the other leg on the footpath and a bicycle between them. Unfortunately my sportstracker lost its GPS on the way back, otherwise I could have marked the spot on the map.
We stopped at The Swan in Holbrook for a pint & to examine the war wounds. Not too serious, but will have to wait till tomorrow to see which were bruises & which mud.
We were hungry again by the time we got home. I had a burger & a roll, C had a burger & a fried banana.
