Dear Dairy...

Our house was once part of a dairy building, so we've been collecting suitable items for our kitchen window ledge.

The handy-size milk churn I spotted on eBay and was a surprise gift for my wife on the week we moved in. The jug was her surprise gift to me recently. The school milk bottle was sent to us by our old art college friend who visited us last month. A case of "I saw this and thought of you".

Not in the photo are two old milk bottles – one from Canterbury and one from Kendal – and a little wooden black and white cow.
