Blowing in the Wind

All that gorgeous purple Fireweed is now releasing millions of seeds that fly about, ready to tuck in under a blanket of snow and wait for spring. Today was the first totally sunny day in weeks (seems that way, anyway), and it was also very windy. Seeds with their fluffy white wings filled the air, reminding us of what's to come.
