A place to sit

Today I'm home alone. A list of phone calls to make but also time to sit on a bench in the garden, in the sun and listen to the 2.15 radio 4 afternoon play. In my pre-semi-retirement life I had to be ill in bed to enjoy that.
We try to sit outside in the evenings much of the year even when it's wet (we sit under the porch) or cold (we wear coats, scarves and hats!). It's good to be outside listening to owls, watching bats and enjoying the stars. We are lucky to live in a special dark sky area with very little light pollution.
