early this morning, just as the sun was rising....

Why oh why on a day when I have to go to work, does the sun wake me up by calling me out to play like this!

Just caught this sunrise as I awoke today - we live in an elevated spot and the horizon is approx 35 - 40 miles away, so the hills and the mist are lovely and the sun looks quite small - but the colours - just magic.

No playing with this one - this is just the way it was.
