Kissing Bowl

Day 252

The usual dreaded Monday wasn't too bad.

Short day in office and early school pick up meant had time with the boy. Of course we had to fit in a Costa visit before pottering at home and the first lot of homework from Year 1. By gum it was hard to focus the boy 'I can't do it' and 'my arms aching' . Excuses excuses! Still he earned his 20p reward.

Looking forward to more Mondays like this in October when I reduce my hours down. Today confirmed that it is definitely the right thing to do. Especially if we have more lovely chats about how great would it be if clouds were made out of marshmallows and why has Peppa pig been made to look like a human when she's supposed to be a pig. The last one threw me and I struggled to find an answer straight away! Might as well asked me the meaning of life!

Off to Scotland tomorrow with work and over night in Edinburgh. Really looking forward to an evening there as only ever flown in and out the same day. Any of my Edinburgh dwelling fellow blippers got any recommendations on how to make the most of an evening there?
