Renewing My Strength

Those who know me would not consider me weak. Even so, on a day like today when enormous reserves of physical, emotional, and spiritual were spent, I would inevitably not be able to sustain this level of vitality and robust force to propel my life forward without pausing to pray. For me on this day at this hour, that means to literally get on my knees and refuel, retreat, and be restored. Recognizing my need for God to sustain and empower me doesn't weaken me-- it empowers me. Tomorrow I'll be stronger than today- just wait and see.
