Faire du bronzage
At least one of us managed to chill out, and it wasn’t Thom or I! Gizmo, enjoying the last of the rays…lucky him!
A lot of cleans were done today under quite a lot of pressure. All were done pretty much on time, with one being finished just as a family arrived but they did not mind at all! Richard was again here to help with the cleans etc. although I did feel sometimes quite put-upon, Thom as well I think. We are both so used to sorting things our way and knowing what way works best for us that it was a little bit of a shock to have someone else tell us what to do.
Today was also the day that Thom’s family left, which was rather upsetting for all involved. I did have to hold back a tear as they left, possibly because Julie was crying as well…and Thom, well, he was being manly about the whole thing – I wish they could have stayed longer though. The extra help from Richard meant that we had a little time to relax and actually have dinner before 10pm at night. Of course, the best thing to have was takeaway pizza from the bottom of the hill. This time quicker than last time…but even with them being rather slow, you just have to go for that wafer thin crust!
