My first this year......

It's been a L O N G day! Much longer than it should have been, but I am trying to concentrate on the positives! Wet playtimes never make for calm days and some of my special children have found today a bit too much. And I am tired too!

On the way home I saw my first conkers of the season and carried some home in my hand to blip. They really are prickly! I love it when the cases open and out comes that beautiful shiny brown conker. I remember using my sister's duffle coat hood as a conker carrier when we walked home from school. Perfect for the job! Not sure what she thought though...
