City of dreaming spires

Whizzed into Oxford (one of my favourite cities) this morning. The dreaming spires were having a bit of a nightmare, the whole centre had turned into a fair ground and it was bucketing with rain. I had hoped to take refuge in the Ashmolean museum that has just been revamped and I was looking forward to seeing the current exhibition of Henry Moore and Francis Bacon. Sounded wonderful but please note all museums (apart from the Pitriver museum) are closed on Monday! I still had a brilliant morning!
