Busy with asppointments

The week began as it's set to continue: with hospital appointments.

I got my hormone injection this morning for the prostate problem, and then a few hours after I was with the oncologist to discuss progress in that department. The actual oncologist is away for a couple of weeks, so I was seen by one of his juniors who was really pleasant and helpful and understanding (and gob-smacked when she heard about this year's various falling-down-and-breaking-things adventures). She needs to talk to the big boss when he comes about changing the tablets I take to counteract the hot flushes which are a side-effect of the injections, and to discuss the physical after-effects of the injections too.

Tomorrow at 8:00 am I'm due at the out-patients orthopaedic department in Beaumont hospital about the wrist.

On Wednesday morning it's back to the out-patients orthopaedic department in Blanchardstown hospital about the elbow.

Next week I'm due for a bone density scan, after which I'll have a little break from hospital visits.
