Unexpected Guest

Rushing around today...
I was the only person who showed up for my Pilates class...
so I had a private class.
Nice chance to get to know the teacher better.

Ran to the jeweler to get a new battery for my watch...
They have to keep it for a week...
So I have no idea what time it is.

Overnight guests from the East Bay arriving soon...
Because a fire is burning near their house...
and they want to get away from the smoke.

Arranging zinnias from our garden...
a praying mantis crawled out of the bunch.
By the time I came back with the camera...
(s)he was crawling up the spoon jar, forelegs waving...
I gave her a ride outside...
on a yellow zinnia...
