The weather today was fantastic! It was a bit miserable this morning in Cardiff but by the time I arrived in Swansea it was glorious. Was working 5pm-11pm today so I was a bit sad to be walking indoors & missing it! Thankfully tonight went well :-)

I was feeling quite nervous starting, as it's the first out of hours shift I've done. The staff were lovely with me though & were happy to let me get on with the job including trickier things I've not done before which has been good for my confidence. I've always been better at picking up the academic/theoretical side of the course, it's the practical side I take longer at. It just takes me that much more practice to get perfect! I definitely practised thumbs tonight though! Had 3 in a row which is unusual, but helpful!
