The Brilliant Turquoise of Bear Lake

Today we packed up and left Alpine, bound for Santa Fe, via Bryce Canyon in Utah. It is, as always, so great to be 'on the road again', though sad saying goodbye to friends in Alpine.

Bear Lake runs through the southern border of Wyoming into Idaho - and is this amazingly brilliant, turquoise color.

Tonight we are in Brigham City in a trusty Walmart's parking lot right by open fields and bull-rushes. Very pretty. We've dined sumptuously by candlelight and are now ready to crash.
