First day in Yellowstone

We've had a fantastic day today. The colours were wonderful and I took many photos which I think will become inspiration for a series of quilts. Colours, texture, design-it's all there in the park. I found it difficult to select one photo out of the many I took. Old Faithful came on time and was surprisingly quite dramatic. I had not anticipated the noise it made.
