Unplugged

I don't understand why people dump their unwanted household goods. On the other hand it can be useful for blips. And I thought I'd try the September square challenge too.

At a balmy 19 degrees today you didn't need a heater either. Amazingly there is little wind at my place. It sounds awful inland with trees down and no power. I always know where my head lamp is (earthquakes teach you that).

The little mother-ship is having a few days in the hospice. I may not get to look at/comment on many journals tonight as I want to phone and see how her settling in is going. It isn't home but it's a good place.

My hands are looking better today. Sunday's trip was a cracker, honestly :-)
