I once knew what this was!

Growing in a narrow border -last year it was under the yew hedge 100 yards away. I fried it last year (having convinced myself it was OK), but it wasn't wonderful. Needless to say I didn't offer any to anyone else. I remember eating a shaggy parasol years ago, while children and father watched to see what would happen to me!
