duck's eye view

An easy low level walk this morning. Approaching Grasmere I caught up with what I can only describe as a giant brightly coloured caterpillar. Another coach load of Japanese visitors walking along the narrow riverside path. 

They were all heading to admire this view across the lake towards Helm Crag and Dunmail Raise. I waited until they had taken their  photos and turned back before I got up close to the water for this shot.
