Snowbell!

Today we went to Tel Aviv as there is an artists market held there on Tuesdays and Fridays and I wanted something nice as a present for the couple who's wedding we're going to next week.

Then a blip meet was held over lunch with Snowbell who's journal I follow and her sweet doggy, Poppy. We didn't know each other before meeting in Blipland. Turns out she was here on Zikim during her army service the year before I arrived and was in England when I lived in Tel Aviv.

Her suggestion for a place to rendezvous was a great spot, a restaurant called The Little Prince. It's a second hand book shop as well as an eatery, situated on the top floor, well the roof really, of an old building slap bang in the middle of the street the market is held on. Fortunately half of it is closed in with air conditioning, as it was rather hot outside. I did go out to the open side to take photos of the street below and almost asked the few people out there drinking coffee just how they could do that, but it was even too hot to get into that discussion!

After a leisurely two hours of eating and none stop chatting we went our separate ways. Looking forward to meeting up with her again next time ( please be kind with the photo you blip N! ).
