Cookridge

This is the view from my sons window. If you look very closely you can see Tinshill BT Tower - also known locally as Cookridge Tower.
This is one of twelve BT towers that are built of reinforced concrete. Due to the fact it is situated in an elevated part of Leeds, it's base is 192 metres above sea level.
In 2002 a study was conducted to ensure that radio emissions being transmitted were safe. Seemingly they are well below levels which may cause harm and we are not at risk.
Umm, isn't that what they always say!
Nice view though!!
