Mixed day. Good meeting with the Head, who is happy with our proposals. On-off tense day, probably due to my failure to get any booze on the table until dinner time.

Lots of toing and froing over what clubs the kids will do this year. Dinner was a risotto that was pronounced 'too big' and a meringue roulade that wouldn't roll. Sigh.

Still, it could all be going so much worse. The movie they have chosen could be even raunchier...

Mr B had a good day, apart from a drenching in the Dutch rain.
