Good news...

My sunflower has finally flowered! It shot up to over 6ft tall without a flower but it has finally bloomed..

Shame it is facing the fence instead of outwards - I should have sited it on the other side of the garden to face the sun. At least it survived the strimming massacre when Gary hacked down the other sunflower I was growing. No, I'm not bitter...
